ij Photo is the Local Maternity Photographer Near You
First, when you book ij Photo as your maternity photographer, you'll be asked to sign a contract. Please review this document completely since it has important information about your session. You'll also need to pay the session fee and choose a preferred date for your session. You will receive an email confirmation that you are booked, as well as emails helping you to plan and remind you of your upcoming appointment.
Next, It's time to plan your wardrobe! You can visit the studio to select your attire or do it online. I'm happy to send you photos or do a Zoom to help you choose if you can't make it in person. The outfits are designed to fit most sizes, so there is no need to worry. If you don't have hair and makeup included in your package, now is the time to book professional hair and makeup services.
Then, it's Lights, Camera, and Action!
Finally, we will schedule an in-person (or Zoom) ordering appointment to place your order. During this meeting, you'll be able to see samples of wall art, albums, and all print options. Your purchased products will be mailed directly to you so you can enjoy your photos for a lifetime!

Hello! I'm Irene Jones, owner of IJ Photo.
I love being the answer to the question where's a maternity photographer near me?
My experience enables my clients and their families to feel natural in front of the camera. They know that I can capture everyone at their best.
I love working with repeat clients at my Everett studio or on location to capture each new stage of life. In addition to maternity photography, I am also a newborn photographer.
Beyond my photography work, I love the PNW, spending time with my 4 kids, reading, and watching movies. Storytelling and family are a big part of who I am.
I believe in inclusivity and want to work with people from all walks of life. I am excited to work with LGBTQIA+ individuals and people of all nationalities, races, religious beliefs, and backgrounds. I welcome your unique perspective and can't wait to hear your story.
- Do you do maternity photography near me?

IJ Photo Studio is located at 2815 Baker Ave Suite 205, Everett WA 98201. Parking is available in front of the main entrance and across the street in the gravel lot. The studio is on the 2nd floor. The building is not ADA-accessible.
- Do you shoot on location?

Yes! You can choose a location or studio session. Location sessions depend on the weather, and they are only offered from May to October.
- Can I try on your dresses before my shoot?

Yes! Please schedule a fitting appointment at least a week before your session at the studio. Most outfits are one size fits all. Others are M/L and have quite a bit of stretch.
- Do you also do newborn photos?

Yes! Book your newborn session and your maternity session at the same time, and you'll instantly save on your newborn session. Newborn sessions have the best results when scheduled for when your baby is between 5-21 days old. Please inquire if you have specific needs.
- When should I book my maternity session?

It's best to book your maternity session when you are between 28-36 weeks.
- How long does it take to get to see my photos?

Most galleries are ready in 10-14 days.
- How will I view my retouched photos?

An ordering appointment will be scheduled for you to review your photos and place your order. Scheduling will happen after your session is over and it generally takes 1-2 weeks for your photos to be ready.
