Roomy Indoor Outdoor Wedding Venue
Close to downtown Issaquah is a hidden gem wedding venue. The Pickering Barn has all the rustic feel that couples are looking for in a cozy and convenient location. This historic city-owned spot offers multiple spaces for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. I love the gardens, especially in spring when the trees are just coming to life again. With space for up to 350 guests, it is also an affordable as well as attractive option for events. There are rooms you can use for getting ready as well, so your whole event can happen onsite, making your day easy and convenient.
Perfect Photo Spot
Carl and Kristin were married in April. The weather report had predicted thunderstorms all day, so they had planned to do both ceremony and reception inside. Luckily enough the weather cooperated for our first look, couple's photos, and wedding party photos. I loved how the guy's ties complemented the red barn and how beautiful the setting was for their first look! Carl and Kristin eloped the year previous since their 2020 wedding had to be postponed (the original wedding date was 4-4-20). Kristin gave Carl a watch with the original wedding date engraved on it during their elopement, so Carl returned the favor and gave his lovely wife a matching watch.
Great Vendor Team
I want to give a huge thank you to the vendors that helped make this lovely day happen. Weddings can be stressful for couples during the planning portion. A quality vendor team knows not only how to do their business well, but also works in concert with other vendors to make sure the day flows smoothly and is enjoyed by all. I love working with those that display quality craftsmanship, pride in their work, and an ability to work as a team. All of the vendors listed below did just that and have my recommendation!
