Today's blog post is a Blessed Sacrament Wedding in Seattle WA. I am excited to share some of the photos from Victoria and Evan's heart-filled, perfect day.
Blessed Sacrament Wedding, A U-District Landmark
Anyone who has driven I-5 through Seattle knows at least the backside of Blessed Sacrament Church. Its iconic steeple can be seen from the freeway. If you haven't visited this historic site it is well worth the trip. The gardens along the side of the building were in full bloom for Victoria and Evan. This made a perfect spot for an emotional first look with her father and group photos after. During the ceremony, I was blown away by the beautiful light coming through the windows of Blessed Sacrament. Each stained glass gave off a unique color that added depth to the images and a soft, romantic look to the photos. After the ceremony concluded we did a few more family photos and then some portraits of Victoria and Evan. My favorite shot was one of the whole building with Victoria and Evan sharing a passionate kiss.
Reception Time!
Back at the Woodmark Hotel, we took a few more photos by the water before the grand entrance. The reception was in the tent often used for events at the Woodmark and Katie and Emily from Sprinkled in Seattle Events did an amazing job creating an elegant and romantic atmosphere! I especially loved the details of the florals on the back of the chairs, the cafe lights, and menus. Victoria and Evan had a great signature cocktail as well. (Love these little touches!) Toby Nelson Wedding and Events provided the florals. The soft colors, loose flowing bouquet, and arrangements really complimented the style that Victoria and Evan were going for.
The party really got going after the cake (From Whole Foods) was cut. Integral DJs did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor. An Armenian dance was a fun highlight along with a bouquet toss and sparkler exit. The best part of this wedding was seeing the way that Victoria and Evan interacted. You couldn't help by notice the soft way he rubbed the back of her had during the ceremony or the way she spoke to him with loving glances and stolen smiles. This is a pair that was destined for a happily ever after.
